Cabopino is a tiny harbour village located just 12 km from Marbella centre and 14 km from Fuengirola and it belongs to the Municipality of Marbella.

The name Cabopino means Pine Cape and this is exactly what you can expect when visiting the town. The extensive pinewoods are already visible from the main coastal road and stretch all the way down to the beaches.

Cabopino has fantastic beaches on either side of the harbour, which are never too overcrowded and located beside a natural park of sand dunes and pine trees. Next to the sand dunes there is a nudist beach, a great spot for naturists.

The Cabopino marina is small but intimate compared to Puerto Banús or Puerto Marina. The port is home to a handful of very fine bars and restaurants.

This area is very residential and close by, in the urbanisations of Elviria and Calahonda, you have the shops and facilities. Cabopino has its own 18 holes golf course.

For many, it is considered one of the Costa del Sol's best-kept secrets, if you are looking for a traditional town directly on the sea, only 30 minutes away from Malaga airport.

To the west of Cabopino, we find a stretch of land which was developed in the 1970s predominantly by Germans owners, who chose the area of Carib Playa and Marbesa to build their holiday homes. In this location the owners developed bungalow style villas. Today this tranquil area has become very residential and consolidated.

On the mountain side of the motorway, to the west of Cabopino, we find Hacienda las Chapas. Las Chapas (as it is known locally) is a luxury low-density residential area famous for its wide avenues and for being covered with beautiful pine trees, which are protected to ensure the area will keep its character.
