Open de Andalucía 2012

The Open de Andalucía 2012, which is the first test of the PGA European Tour returns, after a four year break to the magnificent course of Aloha Golf, one of the most emblematic and prestigious golf courses of the Costa del Sol and host of the tournament in 2007 and 2008.

From the 15th to 18th March, the Club situated in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella will attract some of the best players in the tour.

The list of major foreign players that will gather at the Open includes, Canadian Mike Weir who won the Masters in 2003 and the WGC American Express at Valderrama in 2000, the American Rich Been, winner of the PGA Championship in 2002, Michael Campbell, who won the U.S. Open, Colin Montgomerie, along with Matteo Manassero, Eduardo Molinari, Robert Rock who won the Abu Dhabi Championship.

The Open de Andalucía promises four days of the best golf but also offers exceptional scenery with stunning views towards La Concha and its rich flora and vegetation.


Players will face the challenge of maneuvering their shots around the narrow fairways and difficult greens of the Aloha Golf Club.
