We are a week away from being able to sign up for one of Marbella´s healthiest events, the second edition of Marbella 4 Days Walking, as on Wednesday October 10th, registration begins.
The event will take place on the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of October and participants will be able to choose to walk routes of 20 or 30 kilometres.
Participants will be able to register and collect their passes in the registration tent located in Avenida del Mar between 10:00 am and 5:00pm.
If any of the participants choose the option of walking individual days they will be able to register directly the day of their choice.
The routes will begin each day at 9:00 and 9:30am and the will have to return by 5:00pm to receive the control cards for the following day.
The routes pass through the city, nature and along the sea. At some point you will have to make an effort to walk up a few slopes and walk through the sand. During the route will pass through several checkpoints where the organizers will mark your card.
There are water points, ambulances and services on the route for it to be comfortable and safe.
The routes are as follows:
Day 1:
On the first day, October 11th, the route will go from Marbella centre to San Pedro (passing through Puerto Banús) and back to Marbella.
Day 2:
On the second day, October 12th, the route will go from Marbella centre to all the way to Nagüeles and will also pass through parts of Nueva Andalucía, finishing again in Marbella Centre.
Day 3:
The 3rd day will, October 13th, the route also start in Marbella centre and will take its participants towards the east, all the way up to los Altos de Marbella, and down towards the beach in Rio Real.
Day 4:
On Sunday, the last day, the route will pass through the Vía Gladiolo (gladiolus being the Roman symbol for victory), people that participated in the events every day will receive a medal in recognition.
