La Duquesa Port is located on the Western side of the Costa del Sol between Estepona and Sotogrande. It belongs to the municipality of Manilva and it is considered one of the Costa's best-kept secrets.

The beautiful and tranquil marina was constructed in a typical style of an Andalucian white village and it is nettled between two clean Blue Flag beaches with fantastic promenades that give access to unspoilt, never overcrowded beaches and wonderful chiringuitos (beach bars).

The marina is at the heart of community life in this area. The port boasts a wide choice of amenities including a supermarket, banks, an excellent variety of local and international restaurants, bars, cafés and small shops.

The port itself is a working marina and is used by both pleasure craft and local fishermen. There is a fully qualified RYA academy which provides courses for sailing, motor vessels and diving. Other water activities available in the port are boat rides, fishing trips, sailing and dolphin spotting.

Just outside the port one finds La Duquesa Golf & Country Club, which is a fantastic course designed by the famous Robert Trent Jones. Within ten minutes' drive one can find several championship golf courses, including the world-famous Valderrama, home of the Andalucía Masters and the beautiful golf resort of Finca Cortesin home to the Volvo World Match Play Championships.

As tourism developed later on this part of the coast, this charming port was left alone by the high rise package holiday hotels and as such, this area has a more relaxed and peaceful ambience than other parts of the Costa del Sol.
